Plastic surgery with no scars

If on the Bioplasty post we talked about plastic surgery with no cuts, we had to find out something plastic surgery with no scars. And we did.

Salvadorian doctor. Porfirio Castillo, who has his practice office in Mexico, created a reconstructive plastic surgery technique that works as a facial lifting for reducing fine lines on the forehead, around the eyes, cheeks and raising the eyebrows. He’s been using this technique for around 15 years so far.

Castillo assures that what traditionally is done with an ear-to-ear cut on the scalp, he does it through a 7 mm incision that is finally closed with one stitch. For this, he uses medical instruments he invented. These are introduce in the small cut and help lift the tissues.

With this procedure the nose can be modified like the eyebrows, as well as crow’s feet around the eyes and cheeks and the tough area of them all: the neck. For the last one, the cut is also very small, done behind ear’s external cartilage.

Advantages of Dr. Castillo technique:

  • Leaves less scars.
  • Lasts longer than Botox.
  • Minor risk of infection.
  • Les time on the surgery room.
  • Faster recovery.
  • Natural looking results.
Although Dr. Castillo himself has spread his technique in Mexico, no other Mexican plastic surgeons perform this technique as far as he knows.

The size and depth of scars and wrinkles determine the thickness of the skin that will be taken out by surgery.

Possible dermabrasion complications

Pigmentation diminishing may be permanent.

Thicker skin

Skin may get thicker. This symptom can be treated with cortisone creams or injections that help skin get back to it normal condition.
